How it works

Through the continuous rotation of the x-ray tube around the compressed breast, the mammo unit takes low dose radiographies at different angles. Afterwards, a precise algorithm reconstructs the breast in 1mm slices. Two touch screen displays shows relevant information about compression power and thickness, collimation, magnification, angle, patient name, selection of the laterality and the ACR codes
